At the park, we found a tree. A very wonderful tree, with a particularly wonderful attribute. It had a
step!! A really, truly step... well, okay, a little niche... that would fit one toddler-sized foot!!! (Exciting, no? Wouldn't YOU like to spend your morning with your nose nestled into a tree trunk?)
Very exciting, indeed. Except, with a divot that fits only ONE toddler-sized foot, and THREE enthusiastic toddlers vying for the opportunity, it took some diligent monitoring to make sure that everyone got their turn, and no one hogged the tree.
Because, really, with all the wealth of things to do in our park, who wouldn't want to spend their time teetering on one foot on a niche in a tree?
